Call the White House!

We have a critically important vote coming up in Congress, and the threat of a presidential veto. WE NEED YOUR HELP. Please follow the simple instructions below, making a call to the White House asking President Bush to sign HR810 when it passes the Senate. The instructions below are simple and clear, and will take you less than 5 minutes.

This is a nationwide push by many organizations; TAMR support is critical, especially since we are from the President's home state. PLEASE MAKE THIS CALL, AND SEND THE CALL TO ACTION ON TO FRIENDS AND RELATIVES WHO WILL MAKE THE CALL AS WELL.

Talking Points:

1) As a voting American, I am calling to ask President Bush to review and expand his four-year old policy on embryonic stem cell research.

2) Embryonic stem cell research has the potential to treat and better understand many diseases and conditions such as stroke, juvenile diabetes, parkinsons, etc.. Explain your personal connection to .

3) The nation's top scientists and researchers, 80 Nobel Laureates, a majority of the American public, more than 200 top patient advocacy and medical research organizations, and a majority of the United States Congress support an expansion of the current policy through H.R. 810.

4) I strongly urge the President to help us find a cure for the more than 100 million Americans who suffer from diseases such as juvenile diabetes, Parkinson's, spinal cord injuries, heart disease, autoimmune diseases, Alzheimer's, Lou Gehrig's, and multiple sclerosis, and cancer by signing H.R. 810 into law.
